어바웃 타임 대본공부 - Scene 61 ~ 68

오늘도 쉐도잉 영어공부를 시작해보겠습니다!

제가 쉐도잉으로 하는 영어공부 순서는 다음과 같습니다!

 

① 영상을 보면서 대본을 정리한다.

② 대본을 토대로 모르는 표현, 궁금한 표현에 밑줄을 친다.

③ 한영자막으로 다시 보면서 밑줄 친 표현들이 무슨 뜻인지, 어떻게 사용되는지 밑에 정리한다.

④ 자막 없이 다시 보면서 이해되는지 확인한다.

⑤ 블로그에 밑줄 친 단어와 표현들 정리한다.

- 단어를 정리할때는 명사는 한국어로 최대한 나머지는 사전에서 찾아 영어로!

⑥ 영어 자막으로 다시 보면서 쉐도잉한다.

- 입에 붙을 때까지 하기, 적어도 10번씩!

Scene 61 (1:33:33) 
Mary : Look at me. Look me in And talk me through this.
Basically my life is over.
Tim : Okay.

Mary : Don't you dare answer that!
What am I gonna do?
Tim : I think that we should really answer the phone.
Mary : If you answer the goddamn phone, I will kill you with the phone.
Tim : I won't answer the phone, but I do need to get out.
Mary : No, no getting out, no getting out. No.
Tim : Okay, right.
Mary : Oh. Sorry, Mr McEwan.
We read most of your book but, you see, the rest of it was coloured on or shredded.

I had no idea Posy actually knew how to use that machine.

Tim : Desmond. How are you?
Uncle D : I’m very well, thanks.

Tim : Yes.

That was the best day of my life.
So this is probably the worst.

Scene 63 (1:36:09) 
Tim : Dad.
Dad : For God's sake. Not you, too.
Tim : What?
Dad : Well, Kit Kat's just rolled up blubbing her eyes out and now you're here.

Or, let me check, do you want to know the big secret, or would you rather find it out for yourself like I did?
Tim : Christ, there's another secret?
Dad : Less dramatic. Much more important. The real mothership.
Tim : No, go on. Tell me.
Let's save some time.
Tim : And so he told me his secret formula for happiness.
Part one of the two part plan was that I should just get on with ordinary life, living it day by day, like anyone else.

Scene 64 (1:39:29) 
Rory : This is our current statement with a revised paragraph there, highlighted.

Pret a Manger Server : Good afternoon, sir.
Are you eating in or taking away today?
Tim : Uh .. take away, please.
Pret a Manger Server : Yeah? No problem.
Lovely, that's 4.24 then, please, sir.
Thank you kindly.
Lovely. And there's your change, sir.
76 pence change.
Tim : Thanks.
Pret a Manger Server : Thank you.
Hello there. Are you eating in or taking away?

Scene 66 (1:40:24) 
Judge : Do you find the Defendant, John Welbeck, guilty or not guilty of fraud?
Defendant : Not guilty.
Judge : And that is the verdict of you all?

Tim : Thank God.

Scene 67 (1:40:52) 
Mary : Lights out?
Tim : Yeah. Tough day.
But then came part two of Dad's plan.
He told me to live every day again almost exactly the same.
The first time with all the tensions and worries that stop us noticing how sweet the world can be, but the second time noticing.

Pret a Manger Server : Good afternoon, sir.
Tim : Good afternoon.
Pret a Manger Server : Are you eating in or taking away today?

Pret a Manger Server : Would you like a bag?
Tim : That’s fine.
Pret a Manger Server : Lovely. That's 6.23 then, please.
And enjoy the rest of your day.
Tim : Thank you. Bye-bye.
Pret a Manger Server : Hello, there.
Tim : Look around you!
Rory : What?
Tim : Isn’t this room beautiful?
Rory : Yeah.
Tim : Come on.
Rory : What?
Defendant : Not guilty.
Tim : Fantastic!
